When I look back and reflect upon the past 50 years that ALKU has been in operation, I will always remember my 18-hour workdays in the basement at Soho & Spadina Sts., downtown Toronto, where we extruded P.V.C. vinyl handrail coverings, with one extruder running 24 hours daily. Over the ensuing years, I travelled to every town and village in Southern Ontario, delivering my products and visiting the many companies I had the great pleasure to serve, many of whom, I am happy to say, are still loyal customers and friends to this very day.


Due to the vast and diversified expansion of our Company over the last several years, my travel schedule has been greatly limited, but I do hope, in the not too distant future, to call upon all my good friends and new clientele.

Our longevity is accountable to the excellent personal service and quality that we provide, greatly helped by my wonderful partner, Henry Mercieca, and a dedicated team of staff.

Let us hope we will be able to maintain our unblemishable record for many years to come.
